I like that my 2 year old can play with these wooden pegs in any way that he likes. He especially likes to line them up. They are simple in color and function and that helps in imaginative play. They are light weight and easy to store. I usually leave them out for him to see but I can easily box away with all his wooden toys. **The picture was taken while he was in the middle of playing with them. A few of them are currently thrown around the family room. ??

Confession: I have no young children. I bought it for myself, and I was not disappointed!

The pieces are of solid wood, and they�re beautifully shaped and coloured. They can be arranged in many different ways, which will produce a variety of colour contrasts. I don�t honestly know whether a toddler could bite them without ill effect, but I would think anyone of any age would enjoy their lovely solid feel, their pleasing shapes, and their cool, aquatic colours.

These are larger than I expected. The dolls are about the same size as a little people toy. My kids, 9 and 5, enjoy them. I think the bright colors and faceless features intrigue them. I planned on getting enough to paint the alphabet on them.
